1. Services Provided

Pat’s Proofreading offers professional proofreading services, including but not limited to, grammar correction, punctuation check, stylistic editing, and formatting review for various types of documents. Details of our services can be found on our website.

• Resell, redistribute, or share the template (original or modified versions).

• Use this template to create derivative templates for resale.

• Remove credit or branding where required unless explicitly permitted.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients are required to provide complete and accurate information relevant to the proofreading services being requested. This includes, but is not limited to, the document format, specific guidelines, and any deadlines.

3. Payments

• All payments must be made through the payment methods supported on our Site.

• Full payment is required before we begin any proofreading work unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

• Prices are subject to change; however, quoted prices will be honored for previously agreed contracts.

4. Delivery of Work

• We strive to meet the agreed-upon deadlines; however, we will not be liable for any delays caused by factors beyond our control.

• Changes to deadlines may occur with the mutual consent of both parties in writing.

5. Revisions

Clients are entitled to one or two (depending on selected package) free revisions per document within 7 days after the initial proofreading is completed. Additional revisions will incur extra charges, and details will be provided at the time of the request.

6. Refunds

If you are not satisfied with the quality of the service, you may request a refund within 7 days of delivery. Refunds may be issued only in cases where the work was not completed as agreed, contains major errors, or was delivered late without prior communication. Rush fees, additional revision charges, and partially completed services are non-refundable. Refund requests must be submitted via email with relevant documentation and will be reviewed within 5 business days.

7. Confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of our clients and will not disclose any personal or proprietary information without consent, unless required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

All documents submitted for proofreading remain the property of the client. However, by submitting documents, the client grants Pat’s Proofreading the right to use excerpts for promotional purposes unless otherwise stated in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pat’s Proofreading shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for those services.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time with written notice. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment for all services rendered up to the point of termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, Maricopa County.

12. Changes to Terms

Pat’s Proofreading reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
